ND  (NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals win their sixth region game of the year yesterday and remain in first place as they beat Medina/Pingree/Buchanan by 10-run rule in five innings 12-1.  Brett Lyman gets his second victory of the year on the mound throwing three innings, allowing no runs, three hits, two walks and five strikeouts.  Lucas Geiszler worked the last two innings as well for Carrington allowing two hits and one run with two strikeouts.  Jaden Carlson took the loss for MPB.  Carrington is now 6-0 in Region 3 and 10-2-1 overall, the Thunder drop to 0-7 in Region 3 and 1-12 overall.  

At the plate for the Cardinals, Easton Paeper and Jayden Rosenau combine for six of the ten total hits.  Rosenau had 2 RBI and Paeper had one.  The Cards left eight on the bases while MPB left seven.  Jaden Carlson was 2-for-3 at the plate for the Thunder.  Alex Irlmeier scored the only run for MPB on a single by Jeremiah Heupel in the top of the fourth inning.
