N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Swimming is a big summer activity and there is a great need for lifeguards to man the many pools in the state.

Executive Director Frank Conlin at the James River Family Fitness Center stated that Jamestown is a highly attend location for lifeguard and water safety certification.

The center sees a lot of people eager to earn their certification during the three day training sessions. Conlin stated that individuals from rural areas and places as far as Montana attend the lifeguard training.
