Thoughts:
Doubles, doubles, doubles. We are such a doubles team that doubly loves doubles. We dropped eight total games in three doubles matches compared to averaging dropping eight games per match in singles! That is a crazy stat.

Going into the match, I thought it could go either way. We swept the doubles easily to start the match and Maia and Breanna won a couple of no-doubter singles matches to clinch the win. Bonuses were Sam coming back from a set down to win her match and Clarissa beating an extremely good opponent.

Seventh grader, Cali Halgrimson, played a fantastic match in her first match with the upper JV. She lost 7-5 in the tiebreaker, but played a lot of hard-nosed tennis. Look for Cali to continue to improve and be a big part of Hi-Liner tennis in the future!

Attached is the results from Coach Dilbeck’s JV and his thoughts.

Next action is at Fargo Davies on Thursday. This will be a showdown between 4-0 Davies and 4-1 Valley City. The winner of this match will have the inside track to the #2 seed for the regional tournament.

I LOVE being a Hi-Liner!!
