ND  (NewsDakota.com)  After dropping to the Hornets of Harvey/Wells County 14-9 on the 11th of April, the Cardinals of Carrington have won four in a row in Class B High School baseball.  All four wins coming this week including a double header sweep over Kidder County on Monday and two Region 3 wins against Medina/Pingree/Buchanan on Tuesday and Lakota/Edmore yesterday.  Carrington sits on top in the Region 3 standings at 3-0 and 5-1 overall.

Yesterday (April 16) all Carrington starters had at least one hit at the plate in a 13-0 rout of Lakota/Edmore at Carrington City Park.  Brady Smith picked up his second victory of the year allowing four hits, no runs on just 43 pitches.  Braxton Hewitt and Alex Jarrett had three hits apiece.  LE drops to 1-1 and 1-2 overall.
