Murray, age 80, of Valley City, ND, died Tuesday, April 14th, 2015 at her residence under Hospice of the Red River Valley Care.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 20th, 2015 at Grace Free Lutheran Church in Valley City.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Lerud Schuldt Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church on Monday morning.  A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday evening at the Funeral Home.  Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery near Valley City.

Doris Arlene Johnson, the daughter of Lloyd and Minnie (Reith) Johnson, was born May 14, 1934 in Valley City, ND.  Doris grew up on the family farm in Green Township where she attended Green School.  Doris later attended and graduated from College High in Valley City.  While going to school at College High, she worked at Ernie’s Café in Valley City.  Doris married George Kellogg in May, 1956.  Doris later married Noel Murray in February, 1975.  Doris was a stay-at-home mom and the book keeper of the family business, Murray Trucking.  Doris enjoyed gardening, playing BINGO and going to garage sales.  Doris and Noel did a lot of traveling together during their 40 year marriage.

Doris is survived by her husband, Noel; two sons, Kenneth Kellogg, Johnson City, TN and Randy (Heidi) Kellogg, Valley City, ND; two daughters, Deb (Dale) Rush, Valley City, ND and Jodie (Shane) Krapp, Cleveland, ND; three step-children, Shawn Degnan, Rose Hill, KS, Kristin Jacobson, Fargo, ND and Justin Murray, Valley City, ND; one brother, Russ (Anne) Johnson, Valley City, ND; 17 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Howard Johnson; one sister-in-law; a special nephew, Todd Johnson; and one great-nephew, Matthew Kiefert.
