N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown City Fire Crews were called early Wednesday morning to a report of a fire at an apartment complex in the city.
Officials were called around 6:30 AM April 15th to a fire on the first floor of an apartment complex, which experienced heavy fire damage. According to reports, Police officials arrived ahead of fire crews to assist the safe evacuation of the building. The remaining units received smoke and water damage. Eight of the units on the first floor are now uninhabitable.
Residents displaced by the fire are seeking assistance with the American Red Cross Association. Officials interviewed the occupant of the unit where the fire started and the investigation is ongoing.
