ND  (NewsDakota.com)  Senior catcher Easton Paeper for Carrington was 2-for-3 at the plate with four RBI’s and scored two runs but it wasn’t enough as the Hornets of Harvey/Wells County beat the Cardinals last Saturday 14-9 in High School Baseball.  Brett Lyman took the loss in relief of Paeper.  Carrington is now 1-1, HWC improves to 2-0.

Senior Brady Smith was 3-for-5 with an RBI for Carrington and Lyman had two hits at the plate.  Brian Fike had four hits for the Hornets.

Next up for Carrington will be today (April 13) at Carrington City Park against Kidder County, the double header will start at 4pm first pitch, pregame can be heard on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com about 3:45pm.  This is a makeup game from last Monday that was postponed due to cold weather, and both games are scheduled for five innings.
