N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Two Rivers Activity Center Board of Directors has approved three community forums and workshops prior to the June 2nd special election on funding for the project.

The forums have been scheduled for April 21st at the Gladstone Inn & Suites, April 27th at the Jamestown Middle School’s Thompson Community Room and May 15th at the NDFU headquarters. All forums are slated to begin at 7:00 PM. The proposed $40 million project will be built in two separate phases north of Gussner Elementary school, pending voters approval on a city sales tax.

Board Memeber Frank Conlin pointed out the benefit of building the new center was not only for the community, but for James River Family Fitness and the University of Jamestown as well.

The public is encouraged to attend each session to ask questions and learn more about the Center and the vote. More information will follow after each session.
