JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Volunteers with the American Red Cross were on the scene of a home fire near Rogers, ND yesterday afternoon to provided immediate needs to the displaced family.

Two adults and three children have been affected by the fire, but were not home when the fire occurred. The house was deemed a total loss and the cause of the fire is not yet known. The Red Cross announced that they would provide food, clothing, and shelter for the displaced family. Caseworkers will also follow up with the family in the coming days to aid in recovery.

Emergency Managers are reminding individuals that a Red Flag warning in the state means conditions are ideal for rapid fire spread. They ask that you refrain from controlled burning until the warning is lifted.
