N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run report for March 4th through the 18th.

According to Fire Chief Jim Ruether, the department responded to a total of 268 calls in the year 2014. So far this year, the department has been on 47 calls. Below is a full rundown of calls, dates and times of each run that the Fire Department responded to.

March 4th, 10:15AM, ready squad responded to 805 5th Ave NE, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate odor smell. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-sewer gas from plumbing work being conducted. Time out 15 minutes.

March 6th, 6:09PM, ready squad responded to 222 1st Ave SW, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate smoke alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-burnt food. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 45 minutes.

March 12th, 4:45AM, ready squad responded to 614 Holiday Park Village, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0ppm was detected. Cause-unknown. Time out 30 minutes.

March 13th, 10:58AM, ready squad responded to 1305 6th Ave NW, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0ppm was detected. Cause-low battery. Time out 25 minutes.

March 15th, 9:11AM, ready squad responded to 1801 7th Ave NE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0ppm was detected. Cause-low battery. Time out 55 minutes.

March 16th, 4:46PM, fire department responded to 325 5th Ave SW, Single Family Dwelling, to a report of an oven range fire. Fire was out upon arrival of fire units and firefighters exhausted smoke from the structure. Cause-accidental. No injuries reported. Time out 25 minutes.
