CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Voters in the Maple Valley School District will go back to the polls April 14 to decide the fate of a proposal to build a new high school and renovate the current high school into a K-6 elementary school in Tower City.

Superintendent Brian Wolf says a few more public informational meetings over options under consideration with this project will be discussed. If voters approve the $10.3 million bond issue, students in the district will be under one roof.

Wolf will be our guest on Voice of the Valley on 1490 KOVC Radio with Steve Urness on Thursday, March 26 at 11:35am to provide a few more details about the project.

On Tuesday, April 14 the polls will be open at 7am and close at 7pm. Wolf says there will be four polling places; Fingal City Hall, Oriska School and the Community Centers in Buffalo and Tower City. Earlier this year, 58 percent of Maple Valley Voters approved of the project but 60 percent is needed for approval on the $10.3 million bond issue for construction.
