Falk, 61, of Jamestown, ND, passed away on Sunday evening, March 15, 2015 at Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo, surrounded by his wife Jo, son Jared, and close family and friends.

Gary was born on February 15, 1954, in Valley City, ND, the son of Harold and Jean (Rose) Falk.  He graduated from Wimbledon High School in 1972.  He attended Wahpeton State School of Science and received his certification in refrigeration.  Gary married Colleen Brown in 1973 and they had one son, Jared Falk.  He lived in Minnesota for a few years and worked for McQuay in Plymouth, MN.  Gary moved to Jamestown in 1982 and worked at Montgomery Wards and on the family farm near Courtenay, ND.  He married Jo Sprenger in 1996 during a special ceremony in their backyard along the river.  Gary worked at the Jamestown Waste Water Treatment Plant, Holiday Inn Express, Recycling Center, and Arnold Machinery. 

Gary enjoyed working in the garage fixing and improving things, especially motorcycles and cars.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, going for walks and long bike rides, playing practical jokes on friends and family, traveling, going to casinos, and spending time with family and friends.  Gary especially enjoyed time with his three grandsons and pet cat, Jake.

Gary is survived by his wife, Jo Sprenger; son, Jared & Jami Falk and their children, Aden, Austin, and Asher; sisters, Lynn (Ward) Williamson, Sandy (Marvin) Heisler, Karen Isaacson, and Lori Radermacher (William); brothers, Neal Falk and Tom (fiancée, Julie) Falk; and special relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Jean Falk; infant sister, Tracey; brother-in-law, Keith Isaacson; and nephew, Jesse Gruebele.

Cremation has taken place.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Father Joe Barrett officiating.
