Arlis Buck, 70, West Fargo, ND, died early Saturday morning March 14, 2015 in Sanford Health Palliative Care, Fargo, ND surrounded by her family.

Arlis Kammerer was born July 6, 1944 at Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Gottlieb Kammerer and Pauline (Weisser) Kammerer. She attended school in Streeter, ND and grew to womanhood in the vicinity where she helped on the family farm.

She and Wilbert Buck were married June 22, 1962 at Streeter, ND. They made their home on her parents’ farm northeast of Streeter for 2 years. They then moved to Jamestown where she kept busy as a housewife and worked at the Ramada Inn. In 1986 they moved to West Fargo where she worked for Hornbacher’s Grocery and Fargo Laundry until her retirement.

Arlis enjoyed collecting dolls, auction sales, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She also was a loyal listener of McCoy Ministries.

Surviving are her husband, Wilbert, West Fargo, ND; two daughters, Francine (Tim) Bossert, Horace, ND and Suzette Buck,West Fargo, ND; 2 grandchildren, Alyssa and Beth; and one great grandson, Connor.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son Dallas. Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Thursday, March 19, 2015 in the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 18, at the funeral home.

Interment will be made in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND.
