CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Bids on the million dollar Valley City Health, Wellness & Physical Education Center will be let this week.

Valley City Park and Recreation board chairman Dick Gulmon says the board voted unanimously last week to move forward with the project.

Gulmon says a few more contributions have been committed over the last two weeks. He says the bid opening will be held on April 1. The board will then have a month or so to accept or reject the bids.

So far nearly $13.1 million dollars has been committed for construction of the Valley City Health, Wellness & Physical Education Center with another $3.8 million pending.
