N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives have announced their selection for the Washington, D.C. Youth Tour.

Carter Zorn of Gackle, North Dakota was this years recipient of the Youth Tour. He will spend a week in the nation’s capitol visiting monuments, learning history and shaking hands with leaders and legislators.

Carter’s essay was chosen among other juniors and seniors in the state. Carter’s essay was about influencing other students to become more actively involved in their electric cooperative.
