(NewsDakota.com) The 2015 North Dakota Class B District 5 Boys Basketball Tournament is set for Friday February 27, Saturday the 28th, and Monday March 2 at the Jamestown Civic Center.

Friday’s play starts at 4:30 p.m. with #4 Oakes (4-2 District 5) against #5 Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier (2-4). Oakes won the regular season contest on January 24 by a score of 61-57.

The 6 p.m. match features #2 Ellendale (5-1) against #7 Midkota/Kensal (0-6). The Cardinals took down the Mustangs 64-28 on January 16.

Game three Friday will take place around 7:30 p.m. and has #3 LaMoure-Litchville/Marion (4-2) and #6 Barnes County North (1-5). The third seeded Loboes were victorious over the Bison 66-26 on February 5.

As the number one seed, Carrington (5-1) will have a bye in the first round, and will play the winner of Oakes/EKM on Saturday at 4:30. The Cardinals defeated the Rebels by 20 and lost to the Tornadoes this past Monday by four.
