CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) This year MarketPlace Foods has put a team together that will participate in the Barnes County Relay for Life Friday, June 19th. Right now their first fundraiser “Carnations for Cancer” is underway thru Friday, February 27th.   

“Carnations for Cancer” will give you an opportunity to contribute to a cure for cancer.

You can order 3 carnations for a $10 donation or 5 carnations for a $15 donation at Dacotah Bank, MarketPlace Foods, 1st Community Credit Union and the Valley City Parks & Recreation office. Stop by and place your order anytime during office hours. You must pay at the time you place your order. For more information call Diane at 845-0103 after business hours.

Dakota Rose Floral is contributing the carnations. The carnations can be picked up Friday, March 20 at Dakota Rose Floral from 10 am to 2 pm.  Your support of Relay for Life is greatly appreciated.
