Glodrey, 84, Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Eventide Nursing Home in Jamestown, ND.

Donna Messeberg was born October 22, 1930 in Watertown, SD, the daughter of Eli and Mable (Barnes) Messeberg. In 1947 the family moved to Britton, SD where she graduated from High School.

She married Ray Glodrey in 1949 and lived a short time in New Rockford, ND then moved to Jamestown, ND where she has lived since.

She owned and operated Raydon’s Variety Store for fifteen years, also owned the DJ’s bar and lounge in Streeter for five years, as well as Glodrey Apartments in Jamestown, ND.

She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Penny) of Streeter, ND; daughter in law Lynne Glodrey, Gackle, ND; 3 grandchildren, Eric (Jessica) Glodrey, Aberdeen, SD, Alisa (Wilson) Muse, Tarboro, NC and Kali (Jeff) Widmer, Jamestown, ND; 4 great grandchildren, Morgan & Logan Glodrey, Aberdeen, SD, Layla Muse, Tarboro, NC and Vega Widmer, Jamestown, ND; 2 sisters, Joy Bretsch, Brookings, SD and Twilla May (Richard) Adney, Pierre, SD; and 1 sister in law, Phyliss Messeberg, Watertown, SD.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray Glodrey, 1 son, Ron Glodrey, and 1 brother, Roger Messeberg.

Funeral Service – 1:00pm Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in the Concordia Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Tom Eckstein officiating

Visitation – 2 hours before the service @ the church

Burial – Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND
