(NewsDakota.com) The Carrington High School wrestling team has been placed as the number one seed for the 2015 Class B State Wrestling Duel Tournament, while Oakes High has been seeded fourth for the tournament, which starts Thursday February 19 and runs through February 21 at the FargoDome.

The seeds were announced Tuesday morning through a conference call with the schools who qualified for the tournament. The top four teams were ranked through an online coach voting process, with remaining teams chosen through random draw.

The top-seeded Cardinals will face Beulah/Hazen in the opening round on February 19, followed by #2 Napoleon against Velva. The third duel will feature #3 Pembina County North versus Hettinger/Scranton, and the final duel on the 21st will feature the fourth seeded Tornadoes against Minot Bishop Ryan.

KDDR-AM 1220/95.9 FM will have coverage of Oakes and surrounding schools participating in the tournament, while KDAK-AM 1600 will follow Carrington’s run through the tournament.
