N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – American Red Cross Members responded to a fire in Pillsbury, North Dakota that caused major damage and displaced three people Friday morning.
The family is being assisted by the American Red Cross with food, clothing, seasonal garments and lodging at a hotel in Valley City. The hotel is donated through the “Rooms for Red Cross”, where rooms are donated to families affected by disasters.
The Dakotas Region Red Cross responded to over 350 home fires last year. The Red Cross is urging people to know what steps they can take to help prevent fires.
