N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Police Department officials were called to help round up about 21 head of cattle after an accident at around 7:30 PM on 17th Avenue Southwest in Jamestown.

The semi pulling the cattle trailer attempted to go up the hill, lost traction and slid back down the hill and into an obstacle. The driver was not injured. The gate on the trailer broke and the animals got loose. Officers spent about an hour rounding up roughly 21 head of cattle.

The accident follows a similar roundup that occurred last Friday, when a cattle hauler flipped over near the JRMC and several animals getting loose.
