N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A long-time Valley City restaurant owner is taking steps to expand into Jamestown with his ownership.

The Jamestown City Council approved the request from Nam Sabir to assume the equipment loan from the current owners of the Buffalo City Rotisserie Grille. The request came after owners James and Sherry Heyer stated that they will no longer be operating the restaurant.

“I’ve been wanting to come to Jamestown for some time and I’ve had my eyes on the Grille. So I had the opportunity to purchase it and took it.” Sabir stated.

Sabir intends to shut down the grill for a week to ten days and possibly reopen the first week of February. The name will also be changed to Sabir’s.
