(NewsDakota.com) – The Blue Jay boys hockey team picked up a huge West Region win over Dickinson on Tuesday night at Wilson Arena 3-2.

Nick Stockert scored the game winner with 1:59 remaining, his second goal of the night and his team leading 12th of the season.

Austin Rene continue his big season with two assists and his ninth goal.

Goalie Brian Wenzel kicked out 30 shots in the net, as Jamestown moved back into 4th place in the conference. “This was a good game” said head coach Matt Stockert, “We played well in periods two and three”

Next up for the Blue Jays is a road trip to Williston on Saturday to face the Coyotes. Game time is set for 6:30 pm.
