N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Salvation Army ended their Red Kettle Campaign in December last year and the final numbers are in.

Lt. Mitch Brecto with the Salvation Army reported that they were aiming for $156,000 as they’re goal, but ended up roughly $14,000 short. Donations were made to the campaign through the kettles in the community as well as online and through mail. Last year’s goal was reached due to an anonymous donation of $25,000.

Money raised from the campaign goes on to fund the food pantry and lodging vouchers. Due to being short of the goal, they will need to cut the originally planned budget for the year.
