N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Industrial Commission approved roughly $5.2 million in Outdoor Heritage Fund grants for 16 projects in the state.
The Industrial Commission is chaired by Governor Jack Dalrymple and includes Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem and Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring. On Friday, January 9th, the commission approved $5,202,225 to fund several projects in the state with some local projects included.
Some projects include $1.2 million for the North Dakota Waterbank Program, $695,424 for the LaMoure County Memorial Park Streambank Restoration Project, $253,500 for the Riparian Grazing Systems Project and $197,550 for the Sheyenne River Bank Stability Restoration Project.
The next application deadline for the Outdoor Heritage Fund is April 1st, 2015.
