David M. Hemness was born April of 1949 at Jamestown, ND, the son of Raymond Hemness and Eva (Sullivan)Hemness. He received his elementary education in the local school and graduated from the Jamestown High School. He then attended Wahpeton State School of Science at Wahpeton, ND.

David worked as a self-employed carpenter for many years and he also helped at Glinz Farms.

David’s wishes were to be cremated with no services.
