CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A sophomore at Valley City Public School has set a very high goal and is looking for help in reaching ,000 dollars for Barnes county Relay for Life.
Kasidy Tibke has been preparing to have her head fully shaven in the name of relay and cancer research. Her hair will be donated and all funds raised will be donated to the Barnes County Relay for Life. Kasidy and her family have been helping with the event since 2000 when her grandfather was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma a year before. Kasidy’s father was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2010 and her uncle was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2013.
