N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fresh snow on the ground has prompted the city of Jamestown to initiate snow removal beginning in the downtown area tonight.

Crews will begin removal at around 11:00 PM and continue through the night. Merchants and schools are asked to have their sidewalks shoveled tonight as well.

The schedule for snow removal is contingent upon changer weather conditions and snow accumulation totals.
