CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City commission approved of a ,000 salary increase for commission members to reach ,000 dollars per year compared to the previous annual salary of ,000.  On a 3 to one vote Commissioner Mary Lee Nielson voted against the salary increase. City Commissioner Madeline Luke was not present at the January 6 meeting.

And the city commission approved a resolution to have a 2 year license fee for cats and dogs at a cost of $15. The ordinance also establishes a leash law for dogs and cats. Details on the new city ordinance will be available on the city website at www.valleycity.us
