(NewsDakota.com) A home in Oakes sustained damage after a chimney fire fire got out of control Tuesday afternoon.

A spokesman for the Oakes Fire Department says crews from the department, as well as Oakes police and Oakes Ambulance received a call to a home on the corner of 10th street and Hickory Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Crews had to use a hose to put out the fire, and some damage was reported, but there were no injuries. The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
