Stachlowski, 97, of Jamestown, ND, formerly of Courtenay, ND, died Sunday, January 4, 2014 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.

Anna Marie Stachlowski was born on a farm southwest of Courtenay on April 5, 1917, the daughter of John and Rose (Natski) Stachlowski. She attended school in Courtenay and graduated high school in 1935. Anna farmed with her brothers and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Courtenay and later St. Boniface in Wimbledon. She was also a member of the Altar Society, Circle, Young at Heart’s Club, and the Seventeen Club, and was a Township clerk for 20 years. Anna enjoyed gardening, flowers, old time music, and painting beautiful pictures.

She is survived by several cousins and close friends, Darold, Claudia, and Elaine Soupir.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Agnes; four brothers, John, Herman, Albert, and William.

Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Good Shepherd’s Chapel at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.

Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Vigil: 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Interment: St. Mary’s Cemetery, Courtenay, ND.
