CITY (NewsDakota.com) The 2015 Barnes County Boys Basketball tournament starts January 13, and continues on the 16th and 17th at the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse on the campus of Valley City State University.

Tuesday’s play starts at 3 p.m. with the number one seed Loboes of LaMoure-Litchville/Marion facing the number eight seed Bison of Barnes County North. 

At 4:30, the number four seed meets the number five seed when the Maple Valley Raiders and the Milnor Bison meet.

The evening session starts at 6 p.m. with the number two seeded Cougars of Griggs County Central and the number seven seeded Cadets of Sargent Central getting together.

Day one’s final game features the third seeded Eagles of Enderlin against the sixth seeded Spartans of Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page.

Friday’s play also starts at 3 p.m., while Saturday’s four games will commence at noon.  

Minor defeated LaMoure-Litchville/Marion in the Championship match last year by a 63-45 margin.
