N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame, in conjunction with WhippleWood CPAs, Saddle Up Western Wear, Black Gold Development and Homestead Management, is staging a Another Cowboy Moment western gala at Outlaws Bar & Grill, in the lobby of First International Bank building in Watford City on Wednesday, January 7 beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The event will debut segments of the NDCHOF’s Another Cowboy Moment video collection, announce upcoming events, introduce the NDCHOF Million Dollar Club and talk about a McKenzie County’s increased NDCHOF involvement.
The Another Cowboy Moment video collection, which consists of taped interviews of North Dakota’s notable cowboy and cowgirl heroes, past and present, and is worth its weight in gold according to the NDCHOF’s executive director, Kevin Holten.
The event will also serve to officially introduce attendees to WhippleWood CPAs, the Littleton, CO accounting and tax advisement firm that has recently moved into Watford City. WhippleWood CPAs will stage a quick ribbon cutting event at their new offices on Main Street, a couple of doors north of the 1st International Bank building, prior to the event.
“We have been working with clients in Watford City for some months now,” said Patty Rodvold, WhippleWood CPAs marketing director, point person and Grenora High School graduate. “We’re looking forward to providing top notch counseling and advisement and to becoming very involved in the community, county and state.”

Meanwhile, Black Gold Development has been working in McKenzie County for three years and they are committed to seeing the community continue to grow in a positive direction. They will be breaking ground on their Residential Golf Course Community in early 2015 and will be opening up their new real estate office on Main Street in Watford City.
