CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Hundreds of people enjoyed the annual community Christmas Eve dinner at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Valley City.

The 43rd annual event provides food, goodies and entertainment for those who will are alone on Christmas Eve.

Before the dinner the children of St. Catherine’s Church provided a short play on the birth of Jesus and a live Nativity scene on the church alter during a Christmas Eve Mass.
