R. Miller, 71, Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday morning, December 23, 2014 at his home in Jamestown, under Hospice Care.
Robert Miller was born March 23, 1943 at Bismarck, ND, the son of Raymond Charles Augustua Miller and Dorothy Alice (Fallgatter) Miller. At an early age he moved with his family to Valley City where he graduated from Valley City High School. He attended UND for a short time.
He and Liana Loftsgard were married June 7, 1980 at Jamestown, ND and made their home in Jamestown where he owned and operated Bob’s House of Pizza from 1971 to 1988. He then was self-employed with Crafts. He also worked as a Gaming Manager for Alpha Opportunities in Jamestown, and worked at the Deli at Hugo’s.
He was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church in Jamestown. He also was a member of the Jamestown Choralaires.
He is survived by his wife Liana, Jamestown, ND; 3 daughters, Mitzi Dalgord, Escanaba, MI; Sarah (David) Sundeen, Pensacola, FL; Laura Miller, New Ulm, MN; 1 son, Chasen Miller, St. Cloud, MN; 5 grandchildren, Bailey, Evan, Aiden, Alice, Apollo; 1 brother, Don (Cory) Miller, Gering, NE; 1 sister, Bonnie Evans, Bismarck, ND, and over 70 foster children.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Service – 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 2, 2015 at Atonement Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Scott Block, officiating
Visitation – 1 hour before service at the church
In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Jamestown Hospice.
The family also requests that those attending to wear casual attire.
