N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Anna Taylor has joined North Dakota State University’s Carrington Research Extension Center as an animal scientist.

Her research focuses on animal nutrition, including ruminant nutrition, feedlot management and cow-calf production systems. She is continuing the center’s efforts to maximize the value and use of traditional feeds and forages, alternative feed grains, crop coproducts and crop residues.

Taylor holds a bachelor’s degree in animal science, a master’s in reproductive physiology and a doctorate in ruminant nutrition and meat science, all from South Dakota State University. After earning her Ph.D. in 2013, she became a post-doctoral assistant in ruminant nutrition at SDSU.
