(NewsDakota.com) In his post-game interview, the head coach of the Oakes High School wrestling team began and ended with the same statement: “We have a lot of work to do”.

In their first duel of the 2014-15 season, Oakes edged Lisbon 36-33 Thursday night in Lisbon.

Meanwhile, another season of Oakes High School girls basketball begins Friday night as the Tornadoes head to Linton to compete in the Linton Shootout against Strasburg-Zeeland. Anthony Bryant is this year’s coach, the third coach for the team in the last four years. Tip is scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday.
