N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 19 days. That’s how much time is left for the Jamestown Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign this Holiday Season.

Lt. Mitch Brecto stated that they’re still in need of bell ringers this year with over 1,000 hours still left to fill. Lt. Brecto also stated that as of today, the Salvation Army Campaign has raised $40,000 of their $156,000 goal.

“We’ve hit 25 percent of our goal for the year. I’m not pulling my hairs out yet, but we are still in need of bell ringers this year.” he stated.

All funds raised during the community kettle drive will stay within the community to help with various Salvation Army events and organizations, such as their food pantry and thrift store. Any individual, organization or business can man a kettle and ring the bell, even if you haven’t done so before. If you’re interested, contact Lt. Mitch Brecto at 701-252-0290 or visit salvationarmynorth.org/jamestown. You can also donate at their website.
