ND (NewsDakota.com) – Lynzee Hagemeister pours in 22 points, including five three-pointers, to help the Lady Cardinals beat the Lady Indians 65-58 in Class B High School Basketball last night. Carrington is 1-0 in the early season, Four Winds/Minnewaukan is 0-1.

Carrington scored 26 points in the first quarter to take a 26-20 lead at the end of the first quarter and took a 10 point lead into the halftime break. The Lady Indians would pull within five points in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter, but Maara Nelson and Brooke Rosenau would make some crucial shots down the stretch to secure the victory. Nelson had 15 points, while Rosenau added 12.

Kiara Guy of Four Winds/Minnewaukan scored a game high 24 points, including six three-pointers. There were a total of 16 three-pointers made in the contest.
