N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A program that started earlier this year has grown to serve nearly all schools and several businesses in Jamestown.

The Daily Bread Program was created when Ave Maria Village began packaging up excess food at the end of the day. Staff was able to use the food for themselves or donated it to someone who needed it. According to RSVP+ ND Coordinator Deb Lee, the program is shaped after one in Fargo. Freezers are placed in areas that food is needed, and Deb stated that the program is continuing to grow.

The program is for anyone in need of it. You can contact Deb Lee for more information on the program at 701-952-9284.
