N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown City Council met in regular session on Monday, December 2nd.
All consent agenda items were approved at the beginning of the meeting. Council Member Dan Buchanan asked Council Member Charlie Kourajian to give a summary of the many events that took place in Jamestown in the past week. Kourajian stated that the Dazzle Parade followed by the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony brought in a great crowd.
Another item on the agenda had a representative from Titan Machinery, who spoke and informed the council of the GPS Receiver that they wanted to install on the Jamestown Water Treatment Plant. The agreement will be put off until City Attorney Ken Dalstead can review the details.
The council also approved the request from the North Dakota Buffalo Foundation for a gaming site at 113 1st Avenue South for the period ending June 30th, 2015.
