N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On the busiest travel day of the year, North Dakota Highway Patrol officials increased patrols and created high visibility enforcement.
Troopers reportedly arrested three drivers for DUI and issued 504 citations during the one-day effort. Most of the citations were speeding violations, followed by seat belt violations. During the enforcement on the day before Thanksgiving, all traffic laws were strictly enforced to keep all motorists safe.
Troopers will continue with increased enforcement throughout the end of the year. Buckle up, drive for the conditions and never drink and drive.
