(NewsDakota.com) – The first game of the 2014-15 North Dakota high school hockey season was played on Monday night at Wilson Arena, as Jamestown played host to Fargo North/South/Shanley.
Despite the home ice and the home crowd, the Jays suffered a 5-0 setback. Anna Erickson, and Graysen Myers each scored twice, and Goaltender Emily Grothman pitched the shutout, kicking out 25 shots. N-S-S outshot Jamestown 46-25.
Blue Jay Goalie Ally Dion finished with 41 saves.
Next up for the Jays is a trip to Mandan on Saturday to face the Braves.
