(NewsDakota.com) – They  weren’t able to repeat as champions, but the Blue Jay volleyball team still managed the the second best finish in school history with 5th place. Jamestown has not lost to Bismarck High since 2010 and that streak continued today when they knocked off the Demons 3-1 (27-25, 16-25, 25-21, 25-22).

Two years ago, Jamestown lost in the consolation championship to Shanley in a five-setter which had been the best finish until last year’s state title.

Jamestown ends the season with 31 wins.
