N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A 20 year-old Kyle Nelson of Lidgerwood died in a rollover crash near Geneseo on Thursday, November 13.

The Highway Patrol says 21 year-old Jason Neiber of Geneseo failed to maintain control of his vehicle and drove off the shoulder of the road, rolled, and came to rest on the roof in the ditch.

The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP. Neiber is facing a DUI charge according to the report.

 

A 20 year-old male Lidgerwood man is dead after a rollover crash that occurred last night around 9:15 PM near Geneseo, North Dakota.

21 year-old Jason Neiber of Geneseo failed to maintain control of his vehicle and drove off the shoulder of the road, rolled, and came to rest on the roof in the ditch. Both the driver and passenger were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the vehicle. The passenger, who is unidentified at this time, was pronounced dead on the scene and transported to Lidgerwood.

The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP. Neiber may be facing DUI charges according to the report. Damages are estimated to be around $20,000.
