N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – After their son Emett Weigel nearly drowned, Charles and Danielle Weigel of Napoleon, North Dakota headed to St. Paul, Minnesota to stay with their son, leaving their chiropractic business in Napoleon empty.
Over twenty chiropractors from around the state heard of the situation and dedicated their time to help out the Weigel family. Dr. Dustin Barton works with a Fargo chiropractics office and became acquainted with Dr. Weigel in Chiropractic School. The Weigel’s have not been back to Napoleon since July of this year and the chiropractors continue to support his business.
Other organizations have continued raising funds for the 3 year-old Emett. The Jamestown Crusaders will host a benefit ride for the Weigel family in Jamestown on October 4th beginning at 12:00 PM from Stutsman Harley Davidson. Dustin Barton stated that even though people may not know the Weigel family, people coming together to help support a local family is amazing.
Emett Weigel continues his treatment in a St. Paul Hospital and is doing better with each passing day. For more information or to help, contact Dustin Barton at 701-269-2810.
