(NewsDakota.com) – For the first time in the history of the University of Jamestown volleyball program, they find themselves ranked in the Top-25. Now you may be asking why this is such a big deal considering the basketball teams are ranked on a consistent basis and the football team has had their runs up the poll, but volleyball is the largest NAIA sport with only one division and over 240 teams.
Jamestown has a record of 10-4 coming off of a pair of weekend wins over VCSU and Mayville St., but have finally been able to crack the top-25 as they are tied for 24th in this weeks edition with Ashford University.
The Jimmies have a weekend trip to Presentation and Dakota St. planned for Friday and Saturday.
