N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Land is being offered from the Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation to be used as a crew camp for construction workers.

The CHS nitrogen fertilizer plant will require many construction workers to complete the project. The JSDC has offered roughly 30 acres of land just South of the Dakota Spirit AgEnergy Ethanol plant. Vice President of Economic Development Holly Miller stated that nothing has been discussed between the JSDC or CHS.

“JSDC has not spoken with CHS regarding exact numbers or details like that.”

Nothing has been solidified in terms of the land being used as a crew camp. If approved, construction would fall under the recently established Stutsman County Crew Camp Ordinance.
