(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Blue Jay football team is still the 5th ranked team in Class AAA football following the new poll which was released earlier this week. The Jays are coming off a 27-17 loss to Minot in which they gave up the games final 13 points in the fourth quarter.
Fargo South got 9 of 11 first place votes to retain the top-spot. Bismarck, Davies, and Minot followed in that order with the Demons getting the other two first place votes.
The Jays will head to the oil patch to take on the Williston Coyotes Friday night before returning home to face brutal stretch of games. Home vs. Dickinson on September 27th, at Bismarck on October 3rd and hosting Century on October 10th.
Those stretch of three games and the October 18th game at Mandan will decide if Jamestown returns to the playoffs for a second straight year.
