(NewsDakota.com) The City of Oakes has announced that aerial spraying for mosquitoes will take place Tuesday night between 6 and 11 p.m., weather permitting.

The mosquito control product is one specifically designed for use in residential areas. It is safe to use and will not harm people, pets, or gardens. However, as an added measure of safety, residents are being asked to remain indoors while the application is taking place.

Should the weather not cooperate Tuesday night, spraying will be scheduled for Wednesday night during the same time frame.
